Myrtle Beach to Raleigh – Time Lapse
My trip home from the beach condensed from over three hours to just under three minutes! This is my second time lapse! I used a Canon XSi with the kit lens (18-55mm Canon f/3.5). My camera was on a tripod that I was able to fit and stabilize in front of the passenger seat. I took a little over 1100 pictures in about 3 hours of driving. I set up my Timer Remote Control RS-60E3 to take a picture every 10 seconds. I had to change the shutter speed, f-stop, and white balance throughout the trip to accommodate the drastic changes in light. I left from Cherry Grove (North Myrtle Beach), South Carolina and travelled on Hwy 9, 701, 701/410, 74, I-95, I-40, and 440.
