i went on vacation last year for christmas. it was perfect weather. not to hot but not too cold either. the water is pretty cold though

my husband works in customer service in the corporate offices of a big bank (Citizens). We would like to relocate to Myrtle Beach SC, are there any corporate offices for banks there?
He works in customer service at a call center for a large bank so yes, I was wondering if there were call centers. I know there are tourists but we got married on the beach there in myrtle and people seem very nice, we love the south.

I don’t know where you are moving from or why you have chosen SC to move to but I hope you are aware that this area is extremely racist and they live as if it were 1950. I visted there on an extended vacation and was terribly embarassed by the fact that the American south is still so backward.

It should be somewhere in the 60′s, give or take.. not a lot of rain. Awesome time to travel there I think! Check out that site, it gives you the average temperatures for the months. Have fun!

We are looking to go to Myrtle Beach, SC during the second week of May this spring. I was wondering what the weather is typically like, (temperature and precip). Will it be warm enough to be out on the beach and enjoy it (in bathing suits of course). Will the ocean be warm enough to swim in?

It will more than likely be in the 80s or 90s during the 2nd week in May. Overnight lows will more than likely be in the 50′s or 60′s. Precipitation varies during that time. You do sometimes get your typical evening showers and storms, but it is generally something that doesn’t last very long.
The ocean temperature peaks during September, and bottoms out around early March, so the water won’t be very warm, but it should be refreshing from the heat. I live in South Carolina, and it has been bathing suit weather since February, so you shouldn’t have a problem with that. The only concern would be the water temperature, which won’t be cold, but it may be too cool for some.

Mid 80s and very nice. Humidity in 50s. Definitely swim weather

It wont be terrible. I am down for Harley bike week 10-18, and usually leave Monday this year the 19th and the crowds are gone. You will notice on the Wednesday the sport bike crowd start appearing and by Friday they are all over the place. They do appear to congregate more toward Atlantic beach and the further south you go the less of them there will be. Check out Broadway at the Beach there are tons of nice restaurants overlooking the man made lake and it wont be too crowded early on your vacation.
