Question by Diana: Is “Broadway At The Beach” located in the South of Myrtle Beach south carolina, or in the North?
I heard that There’s a North, South, and Center in Myrtle Beach South Carolina,but i would like to know in which location “broadway at the beach” is located in, if it’s south or north? Is there more amusement park in South or North of Myrtle beach?

There’s a Myrtle Beach and a North Myrtle Beach – they are two different towns that are over a half an hour apart from each other.

In Myrtle Beach there’s an area called “South Beach” by some people. It’s the area from 10th Avenue South to 28th Avenue South. Family Kingdom Amusement Park is there. It’s the only real amusement park still operating in this area.

Myrtle Beach runs from about 28th Avenue South to about 82nd Avenue North (city limits is actually a little further) and that’s all. Roughly 100 blocks is it. The area between about 10th Avenue South and 10th Avenue North is the “center” where the Pavilion used to be and where most people think of as center of town. From there northward is what you’re thinking of north MB (remembering that NMB isn’t the same place). You can drive the whole length of Myrtle Beach (Ocean Blvd) in about 20 minutes if it’s not super crowded – I do it every day.

Broadway at the Beach is between 21st Avenue North and 29th Avenue North but it’s not down on the beach – it’s inland a couple miles. It’s also not an amusement park, it’s a mall. There are some amusements there but it’s really a mall.

As amusement parks go – Family Kingdom is the only one left. There are some stand-alone amusements like the SkyWheel, MagicQuest, Cart racing, shows, and tons of mini golf but they aren’t centrally in a park. The big amusement here is the ocean and it’s close to everywhere here.
